Sept. 19 thru 26, 2010 is Health Wealth & Wellness Week

Health, Wealth and Wellness Week brings together businesses, community based organizations, government agencies and the faith-based community to provide the under-served with information and resources that will enhance their overall health, as well as empower them to improve their educational and financial status.

The types of services the week will include are: health screenings, health education forums, fitness programs, employment development opportunities, educational resources and financial management skills.

The hope is that key bi-products of this effort will be the elevation of self-esteem and the lowering of health disparities and crime within our respective communities. All are welcome to participate.
